Chefs all over the world have identical uniforms made up of a long tuque, double breast coat, checked trousers and white apron. This fact makes them recognizable at a distance and this happens to be what they wear as a long as they are still working as chefs. This outfit has an origin and every part of it was created out of need and remained the tradition to date. The long sleeves on the chef’s jacket also prevent any harm to the arms. The kitchen is usually a busy place. The running around sometimes may cause some minor accidents like spilling hot soup your arms.
