Corporate workwear / uniform

If you need corporate workwear for your staff, then you might have already decided what you need and why. If you don't know what you need, or what to look for then here's what you need to consider.

1. You'll need to establish why you want your staff to wear corporate clothing. Perhaps you want to portray a better image, or you need to know that what they are wearing meets relevant safety standards, or that that they aren't wearing jeans and T shirts when turning up to see customers or clients.
2. You'll want to determine what sort of environment your staff work in. Perhaps they are painters and decorators, or install washing machines, or work on a factory production line. The type of work done can hel tp establish what sort of clothing you need.

3. Once you've determined where the workwear will be worn, you can then decide what your staff will need. They might need polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, workboots and work trousers.
4. Your staff clothing might need to meet specific safety standards. By choosing the right sort of corporate workwear, you'll know that your staff are safe whilst working.

5. You might also want to add your company details to your staff clothing, so that you can advertise your business wherever your workers are. Why not mention your telephone number and website on all of your staff clothing, so that it's easy for potential clients or customers to find you?

6. It's essential that your staff work clothing such as corporate hoodies is durable, so that you don't have to replace it regularly. You'll also know that it provides a bit more protection too.

7. Your staff might need high visibility clothing if they're working outside, or at night. You'll need them to have jackets and vests, and possibly even high visibility waterproofs too.
8. You'll want your staff to be appropriately dressed for their duties, as they are representing your company, and especially if they are meeting with members of the public, whether existing or potential customers. Why not make sure that they are wearing smart polo shirts if a suit and tie isn't appropriate workwear?

9. Your staff will need to look professional, as first impressions count. If your staff turn up on site, and look like they can do the job, or will be able to reassure and help somebody in need, then that's half the job done. Your staff clothing should be the right colours and style for the sort of scenarios your staff will be in.

10. Remember that you might need accessories, such as bags, hats and umbrellas for your staff. These can also be branded with your logo, so that you can get additional advertising, even when it rains, or if your staff are carrying their essentials with them.

Now you know what you should be looking for, you'll be able to choose the right corporate workwear for your staff.
